Dixie Youth Baseball State Tournament 2023 is set to begin on June 22 in Montgomery. Eleven states will host the competition in the Southeast.
Previously known as the Little Boys Baseball, Dixie Youth Baseball (DYB) is an esteemed community youth baseball program in the Southeast that expertly manages and organizes tournaments for various age groups in eleven states.
The League comprises around 200,000 youth players organized into 1,000 leagues associated with town recreation departments.
The upcoming baseball tournament is set to take place at several locations in the state, namely Greenville, Avon Park, Manchester, Philadelphia, Orangeburg, Madison Heights, and more.
Teams from different areas, including the current state champions from each division, will participate, allowing players to vie for a state title and secure a spot in the Dixie Youth Baseball World Series.

The World Series for Majors, "O" Zone, AAA, and AA divisions in Division I and Division II of DYB will commence on dates recommended by the Executive Committee and approved by the National Board of Directors annually. These dates will be determined five years in advance.

Dixie Youth Baseball rule book was updated in August 2022. This updated online rule book will be implemented for the year 2023.
The rule book was adopted during the DYB National Board of Directors' annual meetings, incorporating some changes. It is now available for viewing on their official website.
Length of game
For AA games in tournaments, a regulation game lasts six innings and is considered official if at least four innings are played.
Play Rule
Before the first regularly scheduled game of the league season, each team can have a maximum of 13 uniformed players.

Players must use approved baseball equipment, including a helmet, bat, and glove.
Base running
If a runner passes a base before the pitcher gains control of the ball in the designated pitching circle and doesn't stop, they may choose to advance to the next base at their own risk.
